Become part of the community Art movement

It is a powerful thing when the community comes together with the common goal of enhancing the lives of others through art.

In the summers of 2019 and 2018, mosaic artist, Stephanie Jackson, participated in "Studio Without Walls," a downtown open-air art event put on by ArtCity Eugene and sponsored by the the City of Eugene Cultural Services.

In both events, Stephanie invited the public to engage in collaborative art-making that would go on to benefit the community.  A portion of proceeds from  "Dema's Jubilee" (the first picture) went on to benefit OSLP's Arts and Culture Program, an inclusive art program in Eugene that provides artistic opportunities to people with disabilities.

"Healing Presence in the Waters" (the second and last picture) was created to go into a therapeutic art space for children at CAFA, a non-profit counseling agency in Eugene.

The community finds purpose in knowing that as they contribute artistically, they are simultaneously contributing back to their community.
